Preparation and Notification

The preparation of the applications is carried out within the Foundation’s Research and Innovation Council, which consists of the following members:

 

Jan Nilsson, Professor, Lund University

Thomas Laurell, Professor, University

Ulrika Ringdahl, COO, SmiLe Venture Hub

Petter Hartman, CEO, Medicon Village Innovation

 

The Council reviews incoming applications based on the following criteria:

 

Novelty: Are the questions and objectives innovative?

Impact: Potential scientific and/or societal relevance

Feasibility: Feasibility based on available methodology, resources, and expertise

Innovation: Opportunities for utilization and commercialization

 

The Foundation’s board of Directors decides on funding and notifications to applicants are given in October 2024.
